What if you were a horse?

What if I were a horse. What if I were a horse. I've been trying to come up with an answer for this question but I cannot no matter how hard I put my feeble, squishy, not-yet-equine brainmeats to it I cannot produce a sufficient answer. Ever since I saw this ask it instilled a deep dread in me. To become a horse? What would that even look like? What is a horse? Four hooves, hair, a long face? Why? What? How? It goes far deeper. The horse is a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a mystery which will eventually be wrapped in a bottle of Elmer's School Glue(tm). The equine mysteries, the wonders, the woes of being a horse, elude me. What if I were a horse? How does it feel to be a horse? How do they perceive the world? What are their thoughts about? The weather? The grass they chew? Other horses? The trout population? The stock market? All of this information is locked behind their dark hazel eyes and yet they refuse to share us. What if I were a horse? How can I know? I have no internal frame of reference. How do my experiences map onto horsey ones? Is such a thing possible? Would I be recognisably similar in any way? What if I was a horse? What if everyone was a horse? I suppose this question would become redundant, among other things. What if the whole world was horses? What if the whole world was pudding? There are an endless span of variables stretching out into a vast and inscrutable lattice of matrices which vaguely resembles a screencap from sea biscuit. Such truths are ultimately unknowable to us mere mortals. So as much as I try to come up with an answer....

You should look a gift horse in the mouth though. Just because it was free doesn't mean it isn't your responsibility to make sure it's healthy.
